Terry and I moved to Grandview Manitoba in August 2012 from Squamish BC.  We had lived in BC most of our lives. While we both had good careers, our true passion was gardening.   We spent every free moment with our hands in the soil.  Terry and I enjoyed every flower we picked and every vegetable we grew.  One year we were even in the local garden tour so we could share our love of gardening with the community.

Although BC is a beautiful province, the land we wanted to create our dream wasn't obtainable there.
A visit to Terry's parents in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, made us realize there was a wonderful area for us to follow our passion.

When we found our place, we instantly fell in love. We flew out to look at it and bought it on the spot. It was the most impulsive thing we've ever done. But, I will tell you that we have never regretted it for a moment.

Now we had our ideal place, next, we needed to figure out how to make our dream of gardening full-time come true.  It was time to get to work.

The last few years, we have grown garlic and sweet potatoes and many other vegetables that we have already harvested and sold.

It was time to expand again.  This year we have invested in a U-Pick Berry Farm.  We will start with strawberries in year one.

A cut flower garden will also be completed this year.  Future plans include different berries, a large gift shop that will offer our own preserves, potted flower creations and our own hand-crafted gifts.  Plus other locally made gifts will also be available.

We are excited to start welcoming more people to our farm. Come and see the place that is our dream coming to life.
 

We weren't born on a farm. But, we got here as soon as we could!
